Then what are "Advisors" doing?

For decades, Advisors and Brokers have profited off their clients’ wealth. Rather than join your side of the table as an ally, they sit across from you in a transactional posture.

They charge fees against your assets for simply choosing investments. Often, they’re using products that pay robust commissions. And the overwhelming majority aren’t helping you plan!

In the beginning, my advisor asked general questions about my wealth, but I don’t have a written, customized financial plan that gets updated regularly.

After securing me as a client, I receive generic market updates from my advisor and a periodic check-in but not much else.

I am unclear on if/when I can retire, whether I need / have the right insurance, whether I’m positioned to avoid unnecessary tax in retirement, whether I need an estate plan, how to plan for education and other expenses.
